Roll Over Beethoven

After weeks of attemping it, John-Henry rolled over from his back to his stomach on Monday. He doesn't like being on his tummy much and he kind of wondered what had happened when he made it over. Luckily, daddy was there with the camera to catch the look on his face.

Brooklyn in Bloom Part II

We went to the Botanic Garden again this weekend so mommy could see the peonies in bloom. They were big, bright and beautiful. We stopped for a break and a diaper change in the lush green grass and took in a reggae band.

Saturday Night Smackdown!

Sometimes when it's fight night, you just gotta put on whatever rootin' gear you can find, then tear it all off again when you start to feel unnecessary.

Happy Anniversary Grandma & Grandpa!

We went back to Washington a few weeks ago, this time to celebrate Grandma & Grandpa Brick's 35th wedding anniversary. The weather was beautiful and John-Henry slept in his car seat on the patio during most of the action. We're sure that at the 40th anniversary celebration he'll be running around red-faced with all his cousins!

Full Days When Daddy's Home

Spreadin' smiles straight out of the crib makes for a long day...

Brooklyn in Bloom

Last weekend, Momma and John-Henry went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden for the Cherry Blossom Festival, comparing the blossoms to those we'd seen in DC.

Chillin Poolside

John-Henry had his first experience with a pool in Texas - hhe didn't really seem to like it. In fact, the moment daddy put his feet in he started screaming. He warmed up to it a bit and mommy hopes that as he gets older and the pool gets warmer he will come to love swimming as much as she did as a kid.
